Observation details
Head was green, bill as in Shoveler. The chest and sides cinnamon colored as in Cinnamon Teal. Despite the white crescent on face suggesting Blue-winged Teal, photos found on internet suggest a hybrid with Blue-winged does not have the rich red color this bird has. This male was very actively courting a "normal" female Shoveler, in competition with a "normal" male Shoveler
