Observation details
Found during the San Marcos Christmas Bird Count. Bird was observed perched in a tree with a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. It flew down into the surrounding shrubby area and perched in several Huisache trees until it was harassed by a Loggerhead Shrike and returned to the taller tree. It then flew back and out of sight along with the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. The Fork-tailed Flycatcher was silent and never vocalized. It was seen for a total of 4 or 5 minutes. 29.800511, -97.995121
