NOTES: A few hundred meters above camp, the habitat turned from open alder woodland to a grassland of dense bunch grass with short 2 meter-tall shrubs. Cistothorus platensis was quite common here. Good sequence of call notes start at 5:21. Good sequence of songs at about 9:45. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Grassland, Meadow, Thicket/Brush.
