Observation details
The Goldeneye flew into the lake at about 2:20pm. It swam toward my yard and looked like it was going to come up into the yard to mix with the mallards that were there. However, it turned and swam parallel to the lakeshore and disappeared. I didn't see it again for the rest of the day.
