Observation details
**Very rare and unexpected in winter. A large, fairly bright Myiarchus foraging in and around tall cottonwoods and hackberry. Paler than Great Crested but brighter than Ash-throated. The bill did not seem as large as the Brown-cresteds that breed around Tucson; this individual could be of the eastern subspecies. Photos and sound recording obtained.
