Observation details

small white goose with black wing tips in huge flock of snow geese. small round head and stubby bill. The bill was pinkish orange with a bluish base. No grin patch whatsoever. The edge of the bill (where it meets the face) was straight, not curved like on a Snow Goose. Some photos below standing next to a Snow Goose for comparison. The bird immediately to the left may have also been a ROGO but we did not have sufficient time to study it (it was preening the whole time, and then the whole flock took off and headed southeast).
