Observation details
Not often recorded in the Wynnum Area. Flew over with an entourage of Torresian Crows and Australian White Ibis. Many other birds were put up including Rainbow Lorikeets, all the ducks, avocets, and waders. The Black-winged Stilts didn't seem concerned. Only minutes after the Wedge-tailed Eagle departed and the birds had re-settled, an immature White-bellied Sea-Eagle flew over very low and even dropped down to the water twice, again putting up all the ducks, waders and avocets.
