Observation details
Since it was very far away, at first I thought this was a Solitary Sandpiper (and due to it's behavior), but upon further inspection of my photos and videos I now realize this was the even rarer Greater Yellowlegs, which two other people have now spotted the next day in the same location. Unfortunately I was not able to get even one "good" photo, but enough to ID it after the fact. Particularly, I have a still frame of a video where you can see under the wings is not dark as it would be with the Solitary. Additionally, it was very large, it's legs were very yellow and very long.
