NOTES: This bird was seen about 8 meters away and 1-2 meters up in scrubby restinga woodland adjacent to the forest fragment and a marsh; there was a second bird heard behind me but I saw the bird that I recorded; this was recorded after my Òspishing,Ó which provoked the bird to call more; mostly overcast, calm to trace breeze, 88¡ F. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Scold. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Scrub.
