Media notes

NOTES: This recording began as a continuation to cut #2001-15-04, with the singing bird unseen but about 30 meters away, 20 meters up, and high in trees at the edge of scrubby forest bordering the small clearing between the stream and the road just before the sharp bend at the base of the hill; the second part contains calls given after aggressive approach following playback of the songs, now 20-25 meters away and 15 meters up; I saw the bird multiple times following playback, initially with no apparent response, but then with the bird flying back-and-forth and giving these scolding calls that I associate with this species from other sites; sun not up yet; a few thin clouds overhead, calm, 73¡ F. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge.
