NOTES: I saw this bird relatively well as it perched 15-18 meters away and 12-14 meters up among exposed branches near the top of a tree right at the edge of the clearing where the road crossed the stream at the sharp bend at the bottom of the hill (in the same tree where I previously recorded the Zimmerius in cut #2001-14-04); although I saw the bird relatively well and described it briefly on tape, the views were insufficient for me to identify the bird on the basis of plumage; it appeared to be an immature hummingbird (probably one in the genera Hylocharis, Chlorostilbon, or Chlorestes); partly cloudy, intermittently breezy, 86¡ F. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Creek, Edge.
