NOTES: This is a continuation of cut #2001-01005 after playback of the calls in that recording, in response to which, two birds came in and looked at me and were well seen 10 meters up in dense vine tangles near the tops of small trees; although they never called when in view they later gave the songs recorded in the first part of this recording, at the time with the birds probably 25 meters away and about 8 meters up in dense tangles; in response to playback of song, the birds zipped back-and-forth repeatedly crossing the road and they descending into the undergrowth along the road; the latter three parts were recorded following playback to song (the first two of these parts with song, the third with calls), with the birds 5-8 meters away and 2-6 meters up, generally in relatively dense growth, I clearly saw the birds moving all around me and these were clearly duets; recorded along the Camino de los Espa¿oles below the radio station [ca. 10¡ 33.138' N, 66¡ 56.084' W]; partly cloudy (high thin clouds), calm, 63¡ F. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise. Habitat: Cloudforest, Evergreen Forest, Second-growth, Scrub.
