NOTES: There were four or five birds in this lek, seen flying all about and at times chasing each other around in the forest understory, but most of this probably highlights the same individual, which I saw quite well (and presumably the same bird highlighted in cut #2000-48-04); this bird concentrated its time around the canopy of a small fallen tree in the understory around which it ranged all around me, generally 15-20 meters away, 1-10 meters up (though usually 1-4 meters up when singing), and often on exposed perches, in moderately open undergrowth in good, terra firme forest along a trail that headed west through the forest from a point near the bend in the road just before the second stream crossing along the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; clear, calm, 83¡ F; filters in flat position for an undetermined period of time. Number of individuals=AM1UU3-4;. Other Behaviors: Lek, Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Second-growth.
