Media notes

NOTES: Natural songs by two birds (of apparently three singing in the immediate vicinity), one of which was a males that was well seen, in the understory of tall terra firme forest along a trail that entered the forest at the bend in the road just before the second stream crossing along the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; when recorded, these birds were 15 meters away and 2-3 meters up in a densely vegetated area with many palms but apparently no stream or standing water; in response to later playback, the bird gave the same song and approached using perches that were initially 5-6 meters up, later 2 meters up; mostly clear, calm, 82¡ F; this continues onto the next reel as cut #2000-49-01. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Second-growth.
