Media notes

NOTES: Apparently the same bird as that highlighted in cuts #2000-39-14 and #2000-40-01, after additional playback (and this bird did respond to playback of the previous song-type; bird was now unseen but 20 meters away and about 2 meters up in undergrowth of selectively logged terra firme forest along a trail near the edge of a clearing; this was recorded following playback of a prerecorded tape and of tape of itself, in response to which the bird approached rapidly and first gave a similar song (the Òwee-deeeeeeÓ), but it later gave a faster trill that lacked the introductory note; with additional playback, the bird was back to giving the second song-type; recorded in the INCRA project, about 2 kilometers out the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road [partly cloudy, a slight breeze, possibly as warm as 87¡ F]. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
