Observation details
There has been a lot of discussion about this bird online and through eBird. Some of the distinctive features are: orange head and neck with white throat; conspicuous buff V shaped markings on mantle ("tramlines"); narrow white wing bar; rufous fringe noted on at least one tertial feather. Small fine bill and leggy appearance. In terms of jizz this bird was very energetic and seemed to feed more frantically than Red-necked Stints and took short flights more often during feeding.
