NOTES: A pair of birds duetting amid a mixed-species flock, initially natural songs of birds that were 5-8 meters away and 2 1/2-3 meters up in the undergrowth, later after playback of themselves with the birds 8-10 meters away and 2 1/2-3 meters up, both times in roadside scrub at the edge of relatively good terra firme forest along the spur road about 200 meters beyond the intersection with the main road; in response to playback of the first part they sang more, flew across the road and perched up in dense growth; subsequent playback had no apparent response; I saw a female briefly but two birds were clearly present, presumably a pair. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Scrub.
