NOTES: A pair of birds seen 5-10 meters away and 2 meters up along the road almost exclusively in 3 meter-tall, slim bamboo and a nearby broadleaf tree in the roadside scrub at the edge of relatively good terra firme forest between the first and second dips; both members of the pair were seen moving along; dense fog-like clouds, calm, 81¡ F. LNS: Subject changed from Hypocnemis cantator to Hypocnemis peruviana based on location by Morton Isler. --Jay McGowan 20Aug2012. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Scrub.
