Media notes

NOTES: Male bird that was seen and recorded about 300-400 meters out a trail that extended along a property line through somewhat scrubby terra firme forest on the north side of the road; when recorded, the bird was moving around quite a bit and seen only a few times though at one point I saw it while recording it as it perched 8 meters away and 1 meters up in the understory; recorded after playback of itself but there did not appear to be ants present (though there was a mixed-species flock). Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Social Context: Mixed. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
