NOTES: A pair of birds that were well seen following playback of one song of themselves, in response to which they came screaming in calling more and gave one song; when recorded they were 10-12 meters away and 2 1/2-3 meters up in scrubby (probably chopped up) igap¿ forest along the river at end of spur road; these birds were calling regularly and gave one song before playback; high thin clouds, calm, mid-80s; recording simultaneously with both Mario Cohn-Haft and Luciano Naka. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise, Scold. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, River, Second-growth, Scrub.
