Media notes
NOTES: Unsure whether this was the Xipholena (as suggested by Luciano N. Naka) or the Ramphastos (my guess), but it did not sound quite right for either; recorded from the tower, the unseen bird was at least 100 meters away (and probably 300 meters away if a toucan); there were two Xipholena perched in the canopy, but neither were giving these calls; in either case, the bird was in the canopy of good terra firme forest in the vicinity of the tower; just getting light; a few high thin clouds, trace breeze from the east, mid-80s. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
