Sound Recording Log: "Date: 10 April 1975. Time start rec.: 1515 est. Time stop rec: 1558 est. Boat: Panularis II. Tape #'s: 3. Position: on Challenger Bank. Species: Humpback. Number: Several. Est. Range: 100-300 yds. Weather: cloudy, 10 foot swells, winds 10-15 WNW est. Sea state & noise level: low + low. Depth: 20 fath. Propulsion & aux. noise status: All secured. Recorder: Uher. Filters: -. Gain: 28-34-30, Ithica -3 dB filter = 100. Hydrophone: Ch-1a. Other notes: 440~ at start and end of reel About 1/2" from end of reel, 2 humps came by xphone, were about 40' from it. No noticeable change of level when 2 whales were close. (See B+K chart) showing dB change." Notes on reel box: "Bermuda 1975 humpbacks reel #3 of 6. 1515-1558 est.
