Observation details

Flushed two possible Vermiculated (or Guatemalan) Screech-Owls, but never got a good view of the breast. Whiskered Screech-Owl very common in area, but these birds looked bigger; Whiskered Screech usually with strong streaks on the center breast (not visible in photos) but also on the lower flanks (in photos, streaking seems weak). So likely Vermiculated Screech-Owl, but not 100% sure. This area a little more humid than most areas around here, so Vermiculated is certainly possible. Photographed one individual (intermediate between gray and rufous morph):
