Media notes

NOTES: Flock of about 12 birds seen only as they flew off but they were clearly Pyrrhura and probably P. picta; they had been about 30 m away and 25 m up in trees along road just beyond the sharp bend at the bottom of the hill; the sun was hitting the trees on the hillside at this point; this cut combines files #CAR175-176, the latter containing part of the voice announcement. ML: Subject changed from Pyrrhura picta to P. amazonum to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 29Apr2015. Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
