NOTES: Natural calls of two birds, the one highlighted appeared to be a male (described briefly in announcement) foraging 8-10 m away and 1-1 1/2 m up in same dense vegetation where the Nonnula was recorded; the first part of this recording was extracted from the latter part of file #CAR05-43a; recorded along side road off Aguas Claras Road; weather same as previous recording [mostly cloudy, calm, low 70s]; not sure if I want to include here the calls in the latter part of #CAR05-43a, but this recording certainly combines at least two files [= CAR072-073]. LNS: Subject changed from Hypocnemis cantator to Hypocnemis striata based on location by Morton Isler. --Jay McGowan 20Aug2012. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Thicket/Brush, Second-growth.
