Observation details
White Goose with long pointed wings with black primaries. I was getting ready to leave and was facing east in the middle of the parking lot when I caught sight of this flock with my peripheral vision. They surprised me. At first glance I thought NOGA but the flight pattern was all wrong and NOGA appear more streamlined to me. NOGA also have a much larger bill. Then I realized I was looking at Snow Geese. I watched them fly west over Gilgo Bay for about 1/10 of a mile and then they all banked right and flew in a northeasterly direction. First spotted them around 8:05 A.M. and watched them for a few minutes as they became more distant.
