Observation details
Adult black and white colored booby seen flying south beyond kelp line, had excellent scope views in perfect light, with all identifying features seen: pale yellowish-green bill (much different than the bright orange-red bill of the Nazca seen yesterday), thin black mask around eye at base of bill, otherwise white head and body, blackish primaries and secondaries contrasting sharply with white coverts and back, black tail with dark central tail feathers (I could clearly see that the white area from the uppertail coverts did not extend to the tip of the tail), well photographed by Brian Sullivan
