Observation details
Unsure of ID, but they didn't seem like blue morph snow or Ross's geese. Four of the birds were together; all had dark brown bodies with no white edging on tertials, and white heads and necks with some speckling. Beaks were mostly gray with a little pink and a black tip and had a small grin patch which made me think snow goose heritage, but they were only a little larger than the cackling geese present on the pond. The fifth bird was in a cackling goose flock and had a much lighter breast, but otherwise looked similar to the other four.
