Associated and focal recordings of mated pair, specimens GFS1111 / LSU B-96422 (male) and GFS1112 / LSU B-96423 (female), accompanied by two juveniles. Cut 1 - Natural whistles recorded from 20-30 down trail. Cut 2 - Announcement. Cut 3 - Pair in aggressive duet in response to playback. 1m17s-1m18s female-type notes overlapping meaning that a second bird was giving female type notes. This could be either the second of the pair or one of the juveniles. Haven't heard this before. Cut 4 - Pair in aggressive duet in response to playback. Focal recordings of GFS1111 / LSU B-96422 (male) from 2m53.5s - 2m59s. This bird was shot immediately after these calls were recorded. Cut 5 - Announcement. Cut 6 - Focal recordings of GFS1112 / LSU B-96423 (female), which was collected immediately afterward. Cut 7 - Recordings of remaining two juveniles. Cut 8 - Announcement. Cut 9 - Recordings of remaining two juveniles. Cut 10 - Recordings of remaining two juveniles. Cut 11 - Recordings of remaining two juveniles. Cut 12 - Announcement. *****These recordings are part of ongoing research on tyrannid vocal repertoires. Please contact Glenn Seeholzer (seeholzer.glenn@gmail.com) if you are interested in using them for other research projects.*****
