Observation details
Winter plumage adult flying NE approximately 400 metres offshore past McMicking Point. Travelling by itself despite fairly large numbers of Bonaparte's Gulls around. Slightly but noticeably larger size and longer hefty bill on a gull with buoyant flight and white triangle on forewing captured my attention.
