Observation details
At one point before 1055, I heard a single suspected SPSA call from reach 3 near the ponds, but did not locate it. At ca 1100, I saw an unidentified sandpiper flying downstream from me a little bit, nonvocal, and land near one of the ponds. Was not able to track it down. Finally confirmed on the return at 1407 - saw an UNSA with white dorsally in the wings flush and fly to a pond downstream. At 1409 it flew back upstream as I continued, and I saw and photographed it bobbing at the open edge of 1 of the ponds (2nd from W). At 1419, saw a 2nd SPSA along the stream near the lower riffle, E part of reach 3.
