Observation details
Originally thought these birds were Snow Geese but after examining the photos its apparent these are Ross's geese. I first spotted 1 in the morning and then both were present in the afternoon. Defining features are seen in the bill as they are small and narrow and have two colors with darker color near the face of the birds which suggests Ross's. One is a juvenile evidenced by the dark colors near the bill/face and on the head. Interestingly the two birds were not interacting with each other. One was staying on land near a chicken coop. The other was staying near the water's edge of a lagoon. Both birds were brave and allowed me to approach them. Seems like they may have had human interactions in the past.
