Observation details
Reported by Nick Bonomo while we were en route to the Training School area; a quick detour that was well worth it! The CACG was on the north side of the gravel pond on the outskirts of the densest part of the CANG flock. It was clearly smaller, shorter-necked, and stubbier-billed than even the smallest nearby CANG (quite a few of the smaller-type Canadas were present for good comparison). When it called, it was higher-pitched and squeakier than other CANG-type honks. Faint indication of a partial white collar at the base of the neck. Photographed, with comparisons
