A late Pectoral Sandpiper at Cottonwood Marsh.
Observation details
Medium-large Calidris with shortish, decurved beak, yellowish toward base; straw-yellow legs; strong demarcation between dark breast and pale belly. Wings very long. Managed to find a birder, see the sandpiper through his scope, and get a poor but adequate phonescope photo, below.
