Observation details
Perched in a bush about halfway down the trail. Possibly a new arrival as it simply sat there, not moving much or showing any inclination to feed. Pics taken from three different angles. Obscured looks, but the files marks were documented. Large sparrow, whitish unstreaked underparts. Bill conical and pink. Head had some signs of broad brown stripes, difficult to see given where the bird was perched. White wing bars. Back brown with black spots.
