NOTES: I began by recording a calling thrasher (not copied) but then got onto a singing catbird, the latter being seen briefly as it sang 10 m away and 10 m up (about 2/3 of the way up) in a tree over the trail in an especially scrubby area not far beyond where the trail entered the woodland after passing through more open fields; scattered thin clouds, calm, 65¡F. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Deciduous Forest, Rural, Second-growth, Scrub, Edge.
