Media notes

NOTES: This was recorded along the Rattlesnake Flats Trail about 100 m in from the parking lot along Pecho Valley Road; bird was 6 m away and 3 m up in dead stand of Coffeeberry (Rhamnus californica); I saw the bird just before it flew off, all too soon after I began recording it; this spot was somewhat sheltered from the wind at the mouth of a canyon where it opened up onto the bluffs. [This represents the song, but with shorter phrases than those in LNS #121977. Quality unchanged (1) - CAM - 21 October 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Chaparral.
