Media notes
In July 1995 we observed a pair of meadowlarks at Partridge Creek farm which had been reported to us by Del and Virginia. It turns out that the pair had 3 young. The adults eventually departed, but the 3 young stayed late into the fall. Del eventually found one young dead in the greenhouse. And that dead juvenile was still there today, so we collected it as a specimen. It's a juvenile with tail feathers still in shafts and no black V on breast. Photo included here of specimen.
