Observation details
Sunset was 6:15pm. I set up on Cabora above the marsh/wetland (maybe 50-75 yards west of the marsh) at 6:30. At 6:50pm, a light colored owl circled silently 20 feet in front of me twice. White circular face outlined in a dark line, white belly and underwings. It went into the bushes/trees below Cabora. Ten minutes later, I saw it again, flying low, and saw it perch in a tree. Photo was taken in darkness, at a very high ISO; the white blob in the lower left is the barn owl
