Media notes
Second bird. Different angle of view after trying to find where it had flown to following the flash (a few yards into a different willow). Bird managed to briefly show itself in sunlight. Caught with rapid shooting of camera.
Observation details
First one was in same area as prior checklist. Waited about 5 minutes absolutely still in same spot. Possibly the same bird. Having a curiosity to if there were more around, decided to hike over to where Walker Creek meets west end of Walker Lake. About 7,950 ft. elevation. Habitat there is similar, dense willows surrounded by coniferous forest. Heard second bird singing, likely not the same bird as it was a 5 minute walk away. Bird was warm brown had similar “white eyebrow”, short tail. Managed to get about 10 seconds of call on recording. Had SLR with me today. Will upload photo and recording.
