NOTES: [This is primarily the "toad-like" trilling typical of this species, occasionally interspersed with slower series of stuttering notes (1:37-1:39, 2:42-2:44, 3:07-3:08, 3:47-3:48, 4:20-4:21, 4:52-4:54, 5:32-5:34, 6:34-6:36, 7:58-8:00, 8:29-8:31, 9:27-9:28, 9:47-9:49). Almost every trill is cut off, either at the beginning or the end; the only intact series is at 2:35-3:20. The series of "whik" notes at 6:105-6:18 appears to represent calls by this species as it flew off (though not really bleating). Quality changed from 2 to 2-1 (a bit of hiss but otherwise good) - CAM - 9 November 2005]. Habitat: Desert.
