Observation details
Continuing. Watched for about 10 minutes before a pair of peregrines sent all the shorbs away. Slightly taller and considerably more robust than the lesser yellowlegs it associated with. Bill length slightly longer than head, thick, black, but muddy so hard to see; rufous cap, black eyeline extending back fromeye; face pale, light pink wash on neck, breast with no streaks; white vent/under tail coverts; feathers on wings and back warm brown with black centers in feathers; legs appeared greenish yellow though covered in mud.
