Observation details
On the Riverbed downstream of the Carmel River Inn. Carole first saw this vireo and got others on it. First thinking a CAVI, but this bird was strikingly bolder than any CAVI I've seen before. Bright individual showing dark gray head contrasting strongly with white throat and distinct spectacles. Bold, white wing-bars, appearing darker overall on back and wings. Yellow on sides and flanks very bright.
