Observation details
Bird was first seen and reported by Peter Donaldson on 10/2/18. Observed bird in Pearl Harbor side back pond, feeding in mudflats near a lone standing dead tree. Small peep, smaller than a Sanderling, with large head, thick neck, heavy black bill that tapers thinly and droops toward the tip. Legs black.
