Observation details
“Is that a yellowthroat?” - “junco, I think.” - “it’s a Lincoln’s Sparrow.” - !!! LISP seen barking, sounds most similar to junco to me, though as soon as Brodie asked if it might be something else, it began to sound less junco like, but I couldn’t think what else? not yellowthroat or PAWR or MacgillivrAys , ... made tape of it ; I told Brodie “I’ve never heard them do that before,” but now memory coming to me of June with M at 3 Creek Lakes, and we heard this and I said, “junco?” and he said, and we saw, it was LISP . I need to remember and learn this. May have been a second bird calling other side of Brodie. (Note: I didn't pay much attention to most birds here this afternoon, besides watching and trying to photo the Common Tern. And I tallied my list hours later, since had rushed to yoga class, so maybe I forgot some birds? such as, How many blackbirds were here?)
