NOTES: Bird was seen relatively well 20-25 m up overhead in canopy at edge of tree-fall gap in terra firme forest; response to playback of itself (by Mario Cohn-Haft) was repeated approach in canopy and giving a more churring song; associated with a mixed-species flock; partly cloudy, upper 80s to low 90s, consistently breezy, BP-2 in flat position. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Social Context: Mixed. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge.
