Observation details
***MEGA, 3rd county record; around halfway through the morning flight watch AEE noticed an odd warbler fly up and land along the parking lot (W side). Paul C. hurried over and with a little waiting to our delight a BTYW popped up. After observing it for 10min or so a large group of warblers exited the front thickets and it flew up and off the island successfully. Small warbler with gray and black body markings. Light-gray thick stripes leading down the flanks extending to the front of the wing. Dark-black auriculars connecting to light- gray behind the eye. Bold wide white supercilium above eye with a small yellow spot above the gape. Plumage fit HY female do to overall lighter tones and colors than seen on the other plumage's. When seen in flight the white outer tail feathers were noted and seen well. Many photos taken.
