Media notes
Songs from a single individual, in the understory of pure bamboo with a fairly low canopy. Series of short 'brrt' notes followed by a squeaky 'pee-lay.' Individual vocalizing in the recording also seen. At least one other singing individual nearby.
Observation details
Several individuals singing, two or three seen. Seem to be lekking in two areas, one along 2 and the other on the upslope on 5, both in pure bamboo.
