Observation details
Warbler with yellow face and breast, dark eye line, and blurry faint dark streaks on breast. Long white undertail coverts and short tail with white tail spots. Two white wing bars. In small trees near Dock 5, where people line up to get on the Catalina Express, with Orange-crowned Warblers. Possibly same bird as reported previous day (that bird was in mini-golf area). [Scheels found it while they were lining up for their ferry to the mainland and alerted me while I was having lunch, just after we had said goodbye. I refound it shortly thereafter, snacking on bees in flowering trees by the dock with an Audubon's and a BTGW. The orange crowned warblers had disappeared but this one remained there for several hours longer. Many photos that describe the bird well.]
