Media notes
2A. Chronologically sequential sets, intended to illustrate tail movement
Observation details
repeatedly dipping tail, but quick upward flick of tail occasionally observed as well; gave unemphatic “wit” calls while photographing, difficult to evaluate, relative to Dusky without an audio recording; primary projection relatively shorter than Hammond’s; appeared a well worn adult with whitish wing bars; rounded head; pale grayish overall, especially at nape, creating mild contrast (direct sunlight) with faint olive tones on mantle, auriculars and crown; faint olive seemingly apparent on upper sides of breast, some faint pale yellow at belly and undertail; relatively long bill, perhaps accentuated by deep, pale lower mandible showing through feathers at base; lower mandible pale, with about distal ⅓ dark, though not, apparently, sharply demarcated; found by N. Arthur, today
